EARLY REGISTRATION
Please note that this registration is only for the Plainview, Texas campus. If you are seeking information regarding registration at another WBU campus, please visit that campus website for details or contact your local advisor.
After you have been accepted to Wayland (congrats!), you'll be eligible to participate in Early Registration which takes place every summer before Fall classes begin. Early registration is all about signing up for your classes and important student services for the upcoming Fall term at the Plainview campus. This is one of the most exciting processes of your entrance to Wayland because you actually get to sit with professors in your area of interest to begin planning your future! This is where the dream begins to take shape!
Early Registration students will have the opportunity
to:
Participate in testing to assist in proper
course placement
Meet face-to-face with faculty advisors to discuss academic plans
Create your fall schedule
Sign up for important student services before the late summer crunch
Meet face-to-face with financial aid and business office advisors to
discuss funding concerns
Meet face-to-face with housing staff
Reservations are required to participate in any Early Registration sessions.

After you reserve your registration spot, you will receive a tentative schedule of the day's activities; you can view the same schedule by clicking below on Schedule of Events. You'll see that the process takes the better part of the day because our faculty and staff want to work closely with you and your family to make sure your plans are secure and on target for the fall.
If you drive in from several miles to attend an Early Registration session, your family may want to stay in one of our residence halls, free of charge, the night before, or we can supply you with a list of local hotels.

Returning Students
If you were enrolled at the Plainview campus in the Spring term, but did not participate in Fall pre-registration,
you may register on June 21, July 20, or August 20.
The registration will begin at 11:30 in the Multi-purpose Room. See you there!
Schedule Changes for Returning Students
If you pre-enrolled for the Fall term but need to change your schedule, you may do so at the July 20 early registration
beginning at 1:00 pm. This is the only available Early Registration date and time for schedule changes.
Schedule changes may also be made at the August 20th registration which is the day before the Fall term begins.
