Association of Ministry Guidance Professionals (AMGP)
Tentative Program, August 1-3, 2012
Theme: Ministry Guidance for the Next Mission Movement
Two hundred years ago, February, 1812, the Modern Mission Movement began with the departure of Adoniram Judson and seven others as the first missionaries from America.
Having been captivated by the last paragraph in the Gospel of Matthew as well as the ministry of William Carey in India, Judson and his colleagues would begin a movement that would impact the church and society more than any other since the Reformation. Churches would refocus their energies outward and mission societies would be birthed throughout the western world. The best and brightest from several generations would feel a call and respond to the challenge of mission overseas.
Judson University welcomes you to the Association of Ministry Guidance Professionals conference, Celebrating the 200th year of Baptists in missions.
