Theatre Production AmeliaThe Theatre Department at Wayland offers several opportunities for its students to receive financial assistance up to and beyond full tuition. These include guaranteed employment in the School of Fine Arts, special Theatre scholarships, and university-wide Financial Aid.

Guaranteed Employment

The vast majority of college students look for a job when they arrive on any college campus. Sometimes jobs are already filled, impossible to find, or time-consuming to track down. This need has been anticipated by the Wayland Theatre Department. If you are majoring in Theatre, we can guarantee you a job working somewhere in the School of Fine Arts. Currently, our students are working in the theatre shop, office, and the campus radio and television stations. Don't worry about finding a job--we've got one waiting for you.

Theatre Scholarships

Several scholarship opportunities exist for Theatre students beyond the ones offered through the institution. By name, these scholarship funds are:

  • The Tom Burgess Endowed Memorial Scholarship
  • The Herbert E. and Margaret Hannsz Endowed Memorial Scholarship
  • The Jack Lynn Smith Endowed Memorial Scholarship
  • The Wayland University Theatre Departmental Scholarships
  • The Living Endowment Scholarship
  • The Sacramento Mountain Theatre Collaborative Scholarship

If you are interested in applying for any of these scholarships, please complete and submit the scholarship application form.
