Dr. Adamson is a Professor of Mathematics and Physics at Wayland. She has a B.S. (Engineering Physics) from Texas Tech, M.S. (Applied Physics) from Texas Tech and a Ph.D. (Physics) from Texas Tech. According to Dr. Adamson, "Math and Physics are very closely related, so it is good to be involved in both areas." She teaches courses in Introductory Physics, and many of the math courses for aspiring teachers, as well as Vector Mechanics aimed at pre-engineers. She is currently directing a grant program for area Algebra teachers.
