Pre-Pharmacy

As a leader of Christian colleges in Texas we understand the importance of a strong faith based education, but also the need for educational support within the community and other area universities.  Wayland Baptist University has created pre-professional programs that allow students to enhance their education and pursue higher degrees of learning for their future careers at these area universities.  Individuals interested in the variety of undergraduate degree programs such as Biology can pursue a traditional Bachelor of Science degree with Wayland.

Those students who wish to further this degree into a field of Optometry and follow the Pre-Optometry curriculum and meet the qualitative entrance requirements of the University of Houston pursue four years of professional study in the College of Optometry beyond the pre-professional courses to receive the degree of Doctor of Optometry.
