ABOUT THE ALTUS CAMPUS
Mission Statement
Wayland Baptist University exists to educate students in an academically challenging,
learning-focused and distinctively Christian environment for professional success and service to God and humankind.
Campus History
The Altus Campus was first established in 2001 at Altus Air Force Base as an extension of the Wichita Falls campus. It became an independent campus location in 2003. Currently, nearly 150 students are enrolled in our undergraduate programs and graduate programs.
We offer education with a personal touch, where faculty and staff care about student success and work to make a degree possible for working adults. Stop in to see an advisor about personalizing a degree for you.
Location
We are located in the Billman Education Center, room 139. Due to base restrictions, students will need to obtain base access to visit our location.
Operating Hours
Our office hours are Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Friday we are open from 8:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. The office is closed weekends, federal holidays and University holidays.
