The tremendous success Wayland has enjoyed for more than a century has been possible only because of our friends and alumni. We take every opportunity possible to honor these outstanding individuals who have given so graciously to the university.

It is our belief that the level of support and engagement we enjoy from friends and alumni is born from a shared commitment to
high-quality academics provided in a warm, welcoming, and
caring Christian environment.

You will find Wayland Baptist alumni achieving great things all over the country. You will find a Wayland graduate from 1939 who still volunteers in the Waco school district.

You will find a graduate from the class of 1945 who is actively involved in her North Carolina church and exploring the world of computer technology.

You will find graduates from every decade since then putting the knowledge, training, and experience they gained at Wayland to
work in the world around them.
