WBU cuts tuition for summer terms

PLAINVIEW - Wayland Baptist University in Plainview is once again lowering its tuition rates for summer courses. Wayland offers four, three-week terms beginning May 10, June 1, June 21 and July 12.

Tuition rates will be cut in half at the Plainview campus for the summer terms bringing undergraduate tuition to $135 per semester hour with graduate students paying $140 per hour.

Wayland offers a variety of core and upper-level classes that students of any discipline can take. Summer courses are fairly intense since a semester's worth of information is packed into three weeks. Classes meet each day for approximately three hours. With four summer terms, students can pick up an additional 12 hours toward their degree at a discounted rate.

Summer terms are open to new and current students as well as high school students who want to earn credit early. For information on enrolling for the first time, contact the admissions office at 291-3500. To register for summer classes, call the registrar's office at 291-3470.
