STEPS TO APPLY
FIRST TIME FRESHMEN

Application for Admission- Complete and submit the University's formal application form. You will find an Application for Admission under Apply Now.
Application fee- An application fee is required from every candidate pursing a degree with Wayland Baptist University. This is a $35, non-refundable fee.
- Transcripts- Students with fewer than 24 transferable college hours are required to provide an official copy of their high school transcript reflecting graduation date. Successful completion of GED is also acceptable.
- ACT/SAT Scores- Wayland Codes: ACT = 4246 * SAT = 6930 All freshman applicants who are pursing the completion of a degree must submit an official copy of either the ACT or SAT test scores. Applicants who are at least 22 years of age on or before the first day of class will not be required to submit ACT or SAT test scores.
TRANSFER STUDENTS
- Application for Admission - Complete and submit the University's formal application form available under Apply Now. Students must be eligible for re-admission to the last school attended.
- Application fee - $35 non-refundable fee
- Transcripts - Transfer applicants must submit official transcripts from all post secondary institutions attended. Transfer applicants with less than 24 transferable hours must also submit an official high school transcript showing graduation, or provide proof of GED completion.
- ACT/SAT Scores - Transfer students who are less than 22 years of age on or before the first day of class will be required to submit official copies of either their ACT or SAT test scores.
FINANCIAL AID
- Those students applying for federal/state aid should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon after Jan 1 as possible. Include Wayland as a recipient of the information. (WBU code=003663) www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- All students should submit the Wayland General Application for Financial Aid to the Office of Financial Aid. Online applications for financial aid are available.
