Wayland professor named to journal's editorial board
Dr. Perry Collins, assistant professor of psychology at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, was recently named to the editorial board of the Journal of Counseling and Development.
The publication is the flagship journal of the American Counseling Association.
Part of the Wayland faculty since 1999, Collins also serves on the editorial review board of The Journal of Humanistic Counseling & Development, the Journal of College Counseling and the Psi Chi Journal of Undergraduate Research.
Collins has also contributed work to several publications, including the North American Journal of Psychology, and has had research papers on which he collaborated presented at the American Counseling Association's annual conference and at the American Educational Research Association convention.
Collins is a licensed professional counselor and does counseling and consulting for several entities, including group homes and other agencies.
